SENIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGNER

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer to join our engineering team in Dubai for ongoing oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the Engineering phase (FEED and Detailed Design) and be proficient in SP3D modeling software.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for structural systems using SP3D.
• Prepare structural layouts general arrangements and detailed drawings in compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and other discipline designers to ensure design consistency and clash-free models.
• Review and incorporate vendor data and client requirements into design deliverables.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality design packages as per project schedules.
• Participate in model reviews and resolve technical issues related to structural design.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international design codes and industry standards (e.g. AISC BS API).

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Structural Designer in the oil and gas industry with a focus on onshore projects.
• Proven experience working on the engineering phase (FEED and Detailed Engineering).
• Expert-level proficiency in SP3D is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of structural steel and concrete design detailing.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Must be immediately available and based in the UAE or willing to relocate to Dubai on short notice.
