Job Overview

A leading organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates , is seeking a qualified Safety Instructor to deliver health, safety, and environmental (HSE) training programs for employees and contractors. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture by conducting classroom and practical training sessions, evaluating trainee performance, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging health, safety, and environmental (HSE) training programs for employees and contractors.
• Conduct induction training to familiarize new employees with company safety policies, procedures, and environmental practices.
• Plan daily training activities based on scheduled training rosters and participant lists.
• Assess trainee knowledge through written tests, practical evaluations, and workplace observations.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance reports, and assessment documentation.
• Inspect safety training equipment regularly and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Share lessons learned from previous workplace incidents to improve hazard awareness and accident prevention.
• Support the achievement of departmental training KPIs by delivering high-quality training on schedule.
• Assist with equipment-related safety training and other operational training programs when required.
• Contribute to the development, review, and improvement of HSE training materials and course content.
• Participate in special projects and additional training assignments as directed by the management team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.
• Valid NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
• External training or instructor certification is preferred.
• Professional experience in delivering health and safety training programs.

Experience Required

• 4–6 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or as a Safety Trainer.
• Previous experience in a port, logistics, marine, or industrial operations environment is highly desirable.
