Remittance Growth Executive - North Indian Community

The Role

• Drive du Pay's digital remittance growth within Hindi-speaking and North Indian expatriate communities across the UAE, supporting financial inclusion through seamless digital payments and international money transfers.
• Own customer acquisition, activation, retention, dormant-user reactivation, active-customer growth, and remittance-volume generation, reporting to the Channel Lead with functional oversight from the Remittance Lead – du Pay.
• Operate as a UAE field-based sales and community-growth professional with direct ownership of customer engagement across labour accommodations, commercial clusters, community groups, social networks, associations, and employers.
• Focus on North Indian expatriate segments originating from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, and Uttarakhand.
• Apply a strong understanding of the demographic behaviour, remittance needs, lifestyle patterns, and community structures of these segments to develop relevant and trusted customer engagement.
• Convert community engagement into registrations, KYC completion, first remittance transactions, repeat transactions, dormant-user reactivation, active-customer growth, and remittance volume.
• Drive the complete customer journey from app adoption and KYC to wallet activation, first transfer, second transfer, and sustained active usage.
• Measure success through active remittance customers generated and retained—not simply by the number of events conducted or meetings completed.
• Build a strong ground presence and trusted community relationships that translate directly into measurable transaction growth.
• Build and maintain detailed territory plans covering Sonapur, Muhaisnah, Al Quoz, Jebel Ali, Dubai Industrial Park, Sharjah Industrial Areas, Ajman labour clusters, and other assigned geographies.
• Map and maintain community touchpoints including labour accommodations, restaurants, cafeterias, grocery stores, community gathering points, mosques, sports facilities, cricket grounds, and local associations, supported by an updated database of community opportunities.
• Execute customer acquisition through field activations, community referrals, employer introductions, accommodation visits, community partnerships, and sports activations.
• Drive app downloads, customer registrations, KYC completion, and wallet activation.
• Manage the funnel from Registered Customer KYC Completed Wallet Activated First Transfer Second Transfer Active Customer, ensuring customers progress through the activation journey.
• Build relationships with construction companies, manufacturing companies, labour suppliers, facility-management companies, and industrial employers, and conduct onsite awareness and activation campaigns.
• Establish partnerships with community leaders, social groups, WhatsApp admins, association representatives, business owners, and sports organisers, generating referral opportunities through trusted community networks.
• Identify and reactivate dormant customers, one-time users, and inactive users and conduct structured follow-up programmes to increase repeat transactions.
• Track competitor FX rates, promotions, cashback campaigns, referral programs, and community activations and provide weekly insights to management.
• Maintain accurate records of customer engagements, activations, leads generated, first transactions, reactivations, and partnerships, with timely reporting through company systems.
• Deliver monthly expectations of 150–250 new registrations, 70–120 first-time remittance users, 40–80 dormant-customer reactivations, at least 50 field visits, at least 15 community partnership/influencer meetings, and at least 8 activation campaigns, plus assigned remittance-volume and active-customer-growth targets.

Requirements

• Fluency in Hindi is mandatory; English working proficiency is required, while Punjabi and Urdu are preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of UAE experience with proven field-sales experience.
• Comfortable working in labour and industrial environments with strong relationship-building capability.
• Preferred experience within exchange houses, money-transfer operators, fintech companies, telecom sales, merchant acquisition, banking sales, or FMCG route sales.
• Demonstrable knowledge of and engagement with North Indian community groups or associations in the UAE, together with practical access to relevant employers or labour accommodations.
• Evidence of previous sales targets and achievements and the ability to articulate how to convert 500 registered users who have never transacted.
• Ability to present a credible 30-day approach to generating 100 new active remittance users.
• Performance incentives are aligned to first-time transactions, repeat transactions, dormant-customer reactivation, registration-to-activation conversion, and CRM compliance/reporting, with the strongest emphasis on first-time transactions.
