Infrastructure Network Engineer
Full-time
MAK Network Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, security systems, and IT solutions across multiple client sites.
A valid UAE driving license is mandatory, as regular travel to customer locations is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless systems, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, performance, and security issues.
- Configure and support VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless solutions.
- Deploy and maintain enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
- Configure and support firewall solutions, including security policies and VPN connectivity.
- Perform site surveys, network assessments, and system upgrades.
- Support IP Telephony (IP PBX) and CCTV systems when required.
- Monitor network performance and provide preventive maintenance.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in networking and IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and Network Security.
- Experience with network vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti,, Aruba, or similar.
- Experience in firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of wireless networking technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Preferred Certifications
CCNA, CCNP, NSE, MTCNA or equivalent certifications.
