Job Summary

IIQAF Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Assistant to support inventory control and stock management operations within our hospitality environment in Dubai. The Inventory Assistant will assist with receiving, counting, inspecting, recording, storing, and issuing inventory while maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily inventory management and stock control activities.
• Receive incoming goods, supplies, materials, food items, beverages, housekeeping supplies, and other hospitality inventory.
• Check delivered items against purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and receiving documents.
• Inspect items for quantity, quality, damage, expiry dates, and correct specifications.
• Count and verify physical inventory accurately.
• Record all stock receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments in the inventory management system.
• Coordinate with purchasing, suppliers, warehouse staff, kitchen, housekeeping, and food and beverage teams regarding inventory requirements.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports .
• Help identify inventory variances, shortages, damages, wastage, and potential losses.
• Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, secure, and compliant with company standards.
• Follow hospitality food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety procedures .
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling inventory and purchasing information.
• Support inventory supervisors and warehouse teams with general stock control and administrative duties.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as an Inventory Assistant, Inventory Clerk, Stock Assistant, Stock Clerk, Store Assistant, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role .
• Experience in inventory control, stock management, warehouse operations, or materials management.
• Hospitality, hotel, restaurant, catering, food and beverage, or retail inventory experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, delivery notes, goods receiving, stock requisitions, and inventory documentation.
• Basic knowledge of inventory software, ERP systems, or stock management systems.
• Good understanding of stock counting and inventory reconciliation procedures.
• Ability to work with spreadsheets and basic inventory reports.
