Description:

Utravel is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Finance Executive to join its growing Finance team in Dubai. As a trusted corporate travel partner, the company is committed to delivering seamless travel solutions while maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and operational excellence.

This position is ideal for a finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals, expertise in reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounts payable, and the ability to support audits and treasury activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the organization’s day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet schedules for accuracy.

• Analyze financial reports and investigate variances to ensure accurate reporting.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.

• Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents before payment processing.

• Process supplier payments and resolve vendor-related queries.

• Perform bank, supplier, customer, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Reconcile monthly credit card statements and monitor outstanding balances.

• Provide backup support for treasury and banking activities when required.

• Assist with banking transactions, documentation, and other finance-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of accounting and finance experience.

• Strong experience in financial statement review and reconciliations.

• Experience supporting Accounts Payable functions and audit processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.

• Accounts Payable, audit support, and treasury operations.

• Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial analysis.
