THE TEAM

La Cava is a distinctive, wine-led venue where refined service, deep product knowledge, and genuine hospitality come together to create an intimate and memorable guest experience.

As Assistant Manager, you will report to the Restaurants and Bars Manager and work closely with the sommelier and F&B leadership team, leading a dedicated front-of-house team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.

YOUR ROLE

As Assistant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of La Cava, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and a consistently elevated guest experience.

You will lead by example on the floor, develop and guide your team, and take ownership of both guest satisfaction and financial performance. Your ability to combine strong operational leadership with a passion for wine, food, and hospitality will define the success of the venue.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Oversee daily operations of La Cava, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest experiences
• Lead the team on the floor, maintaining service rituals and ensuring brand and LQA standards are upheld
• Develop and coach the team through training, performance management, and structured development plans
• Drive revenue and profitability through upselling, cost control, and performance monitoring
• Manage guest relationships, including VIP recognition, guest recovery, and loyalty initiatives
• Support and execute curated events, including wine tastings and private experiences

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You have experience in a leadership role within luxury hospitality or fine dining environments
• You are passionate about wine, spirits, cigars, and delivering elevated guest experiences
• You demonstrate strong leadership presence with the ability to guide and develop a team
• You have strong operational and financial awareness, including cost control and revenue performance
• You are confident using systems such as SevenRooms, POS, and hotel platforms
• You communicate fluently in English; additional languages are an advantage
