The Legal Advisor is responsible for providing expert legal advice, reviewing contracts and legal documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal risks, and representing the organization's interests in legal matters. The role supports management by offering practical legal solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Support dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration processes by coordinating with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Advise management on legal implications of business decisions and new initiatives.
• Monitor changes in legislation and communicate their impact on the organization.
• Prepare legal opinions, notices, and correspondence.
• Assist with corporate governance matters, including board resolutions and statutory filings.
• Conduct legal research and maintain accurate legal records and documentation.
• Provide legal training and awareness sessions for employees when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); LLM is an advantage.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction (where applicable).
• 3–7+ years of relevant legal experience (depending on the role level).
• Experience in corporate, commercial, or regulatory law is preferred.
