Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of networks, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. You will work with advanced network equipment, maintain reliable communication services, and provide technical support to clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain fixed telecom network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and other network devices.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of network issues to ensure continuous service.
• Ensure proper installation and operation of fiber optics, copper cables, and other fixed line technology.
• Conduct testing and monitoring of network performance, identifying potential issues and resolving them proactively.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support the deployment of new telecom services and technologies.
• Perform network upgrades and repairs, ensuring minimal service disruption during maintenance.
• Respond to technical support requests from customers, assisting with troubleshooting and resolution of network-related issues.
• Provide detailed reports on network performance, incidents, and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices during installation and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Telecom Fixed Network Technician or similar role in a telecom environment.
• Strong understanding of fixed telecom networks, including fiber optics, DSL, and copper cable technologies.
• Proficient in network testing tools, diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with network equipment such as routers, switches, and optical network units (ONUs).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams and customers.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in telecom technologies or network management.
• Experience with network design, implementation, and optimization.
• Familiarity with telecommunications regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry equipment.
• Willingness to work in outdoor or remote environments when required.

Working Hours:

According to labour law.

Salary:

2900/- AED without accommodation

Salary Range: AED 0 - 2900 per Month
