Job Description

Review andvalidate the financial components of R&D tax incentive applications,ensuring that all claimed R&D costs are correctly documented and meet theprogram’s eligibility requirements prior to final certification.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Evaluate the financialinformation provided in R&D tax incentive applications, focusing oncosts that are eligible for tax deduction under the program.
  
• Verify cost allocations (e.g.salaries, equipment, contractor services) to ensure they meet theincentive scheme’s eligibility criteria.
  
• Analyze system-generated budgetflags and investigate any financial inconsistencies or anomalies insubmissions.
  
• Liaise with R&D technicalspecialists to ensure consistency between the technical descriptions andthe financial data provided in applications.
  
• Assist in refining financialevaluation templates and the decision rules within the AI platform toimprove accuracy and consistency in financial assessments.
  

Requirements

Qualifications& Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degreein Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  
• 4–6 years of experience infinancial analysis or auditing, preferably within a government orpublic-sector context.
  
• Familiarity with tax accountingand public incentive programs is an advantage.
  

Skills:

• Strong financial data analysisskills and attention to numerical detail.
  
• Proficiency with budgeting andcost-tracking tools or software.
  
• Ability to interpretfinancial statements and identify red flags or irregularities
