Engineering Manager - Linux Hardware Enablement

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of distributed engineers to design and implement Ubuntu integration for IoT and server-class hardware platforms
- Engage with commercial partners to deliver optimized Ubuntu experiences on their platforms
- Develop team members through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
- Oversee commercial engagements and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Ensure commitment to strict quality and reliability standards
- Align with internal teams on product architecture and roadmaps
Requirements
- Experience working with Linux distributions and Debian packaging
- Experience with high-performance, server-class hardware
- Proven experience managing or leading a team of software engineers
- Experience working directly with customers to resolve technical issues and meet business needs
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English
