The InterContinental Hotels Group® at Dubai Festival City consists of four hotels. These include the luxury and lifestyle brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the premium Crowne Plaza, and the essentials Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1,600 rooms, the cluster boasts a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state‑of‑the‑art gym and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Oversee the daily spa and cluster recreation operations across 4 cluster properties, ensuring smooth, efficient, and guest‑focused service delivery.
• Ensure that Spa InterContinental—featuring 10 private treatment suites, a VIP couple’s suite, nail salon, lifestyle boutique, and guest areas are well maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and readiness.
• Lead the team with a strong guest‑first mindset, fostering a culture of intuitive, attentive, and personalized service.
• Supervise and support the Spa and Recreation Supervisors in managing team performance, scheduling, and day‑to‑day operations.
• Champion operational excellence by monitoring workflows, anticipating challenges, and implementing service improvements across all areas.
• Drive colleague development through coaching, mentoring, and structured training programmes to uphold luxury service standards.
• Regularly review and uphold all safety, hygiene, and wellness protocols, ensuring full compliance with brand and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a visible leader and role model, ensuring each guest interaction reflects professionalism, warmth, and care in line with brand values.
• Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge in service delivery and innovation.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement engaging, brand‑aligned promotional strategies.
• Ensure all recreation areas across the cluster consistently meet the highest standards of health, safety, and sanitation.
• Oversee compliance with fire, life, and safety policies, including the effective implementation of safety standards and procedures.
• Manage the inventory of spa and recreational equipment and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels across the cluster.
• Ensure all new team members receive a comprehensive induction aligned with IHG brand standards, hotel policies, and procedures.
• Organize and deliver regular in‑house training sessions across all relevant areas to support ongoing professional development.
• Promote exceptional guest service across all touchpoints and ensure the team consistently delivers warm, attentive, and responsive experiences.

What we need from you:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an assistant managerial or managerial role in spa, wellness, or recreation within a five‑star hotel or resort; cluster property experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest engagement skills.
• Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, inventory, and budgets effectively.
• High attention to detail, service quality, and operational standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with spa or recreation systems is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Remains composed and performs well in high‑pressure situations.
