JOB DESCRIPTION

We are thrilled to share this fantastic opportunity for a high-calibre local graduate (graduated with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in the last 12 months) to join our Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) communications team on a 12-month internship in Dubai. This internship is ideally suited to someone who has recently completed a bachelor’s degree with a passion for internal and external communications.
From day one, our interns are fully integrated into Team Hilton and are involved in different aspects of the business. Our internships offer vast exposure and opportunities, such as the opportunity to network with senior executives, and for some, international travel, and involvement in regional conferences.

Based in our Dubai Area Office, you will also benefit from an open space office, located in Internet City, close to the Dubai Marina and The Palm Jumeirah and other interesting locations in Dubai. We have approximately 214 team members based in the Dubai office, we are a social and fun bunch of people driving the business for the MEA region.

The Opportunity

As the EMEA PR and Communications intern, you will be an integral part of the team with a focus on supporting communications activities in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). You will support all areas of PR and communications, including internal and external communications as well as some corporate affairs work, such as ESG.

• Coordinating internal and external communications campaigns, including press announcements covering topics such as new hotel signings and openings, corporate responsibility initiatives, Great Place to Work rankings, and creative campaigns to mark milestones and announcements.
• Drafting internal and external communications, including executive memos, intranet articles, briefing documents and press releases.
• Supporting corporate and consumer press office enquiries to tell our story to media and protect our reputation, co-ordinating teams to ensure timely responses to media requests.
• Creating and distributing activity reports across consumer and corporate teams to demonstrate campaign performance.
• Updating and managing communications calendars.
• Supporting creative content production (e.g., video, social media posts).
• Providing organisational support to the communications department as required.
• Helping to organise Team Member events at our corporate offices and hotels.
• Escorting photo shoots.

What are we looking for?

• First and foremost, Hilton is a hospitality company, and we are looking for individuals with a strong sense of alignment to our culture and values.
• Must have graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with a focus on communications, PR, or English, in the last 12 months.
• Must be able to undertake a full-time (40 hours per week) 12-month graduate internship, from 14th July 2025.
• Must be living in the UAE and eligible to work full-time.
• Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
• The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in PR & communications (both internal and external) as well as travel and hospitality.
• A candidate with good knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Excel, and a pro-active and organised approach is highly sought after for this role.
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Exceptional attention to detail is a must for this role.
