Overview Of The Role:
The Shopping Experience Team Leader is responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring a positive shopping experience while maintaining long-term profitability. This role is key in establishing and retaining life-long relationships with customers by aligning with IKEA's shopping methods and supporting the self-serve concept. The leader will inspire and motivate the team, leveraging product knowledge, market insights, and customer understanding to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure customer guidance is in place to promote easy customer flow.
• Maintain waiting time and queuing policy as per benchmark.
• Support co-workers in resolving customer complaints quickly and positively.
• Ensure co-workers provide excellent customer service and acknowledge customers.
• Motivate and inspire the team through knowledge of the IKEA product range, the local market, and IKEA customers.
• Coach co-workers, supporting their training paths and developing key responsibilities.
• Ensure all co-workers are aware of sales targets, services, and expectations.
• Ensure the right number of co-workers are in place to run the department successfully.
• Find more effective ways of working to reduce costs.
• Ensure departmental SOPs are shared with co-workers.
• Receive, count, and sign off cash float for the day from the Accounts Department.
• Prepare reconciliation documents at the end of the business day, managing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Finance to investigate discrepancies and ensure control on differences.
• Organize cash and coins properly by denomination in the till.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Proactivity in identifying and resolving issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership skills to guide and motivate the team.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• High School education required.
• 3-4 years of experience in Retail.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English language, with Arabic preferred.
