Overview Of The Role:

 

• The Business Development Manager is tasked with expanding the customer base through proactive prospecting and building strong account management relationships. The role supports sales strategies to exceed revenue targets and involves developing customer relationships to enhance service penetration and profitability. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely asset delivery, strategic sales planning, reporting, and providing insights to marketing for future campaigns. Collaboration with internal teams to minimize debt and maintaining the corporate brand image are essential.

 

What You Will Do:

Sales and Customer Acquisition

 

• Win new customers by building a prospect base through proactive prospecting techniques including cold calling.
• Deliver against all sales revenue and profit targets for lease and rental products, with performance measured through sales metrics reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Onboard new customers and ensure effective handover to Key Account Managers to continue growing accounts.

 

Account Management

 

• Build strong and effective account management relationships with all customers.
• Develop customer relationships to enhance profit levels and penetration of services.
• Ensure timely delivery of vehicles/assets to the customer and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

 

Strategic Planning and Reporting

 

• Support the Head of Department in sales strategies, targets, and sales performance.
• Contribute to the formulation of policy and strategy within the sales and marketing function.
• Plan and implement customer sales strategy.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to assist in planning strategies for acquiring potential business and understanding future trends.
• Provide vital statistics to the Marketing team to assist in strategizing future campaigns.

 

Collaboration and Image Management

 

• Work closely with accounts and collections team to ensure debts are minimized.
• Maintain and develop the corporate image and reputation, protecting and developing the company's brands through suitable PR activities and personal presentation.
• Become actively integrated with key local networking groups.

 

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Proven ability in prospect database development and achieving sales targets.
• Strong business to business consultative sales skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple demands effectively.
• Target-oriented with a drive to exceed challenging goals.

 

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Proven track record in developing a prospect database and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent relationship and consultative sales skills, particularly in a B2B context.
• Experience working with high-profile or blue-chip organizations.
• Strong English communication skills and preferably strong Arabic communication skills.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Previous background in Sales and Business Development.
• Good applied knowledge of MS Office applications.
