Senior Commercial Counsel

Responsibilities
- Own the commercial contracting process end to end, including structuring, drafting, and negotiating customer, partnership, vendor, SaaS, and NDA contracts
- Lead the company’s most complex negotiations and set standards for commercial legal excellence
- Translate legal and risk issues into actionable guidance for the business
- Negotiate data privacy and AI-related terms and advise on data rights and security
- Drive the implementation of contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and build scalable legal workflows
- Integrate AI tools to enhance legal efficiency
- Support new product launches and develop foundational commercial documentation
Requirements
- 8+ years of legal experience
- Substantial in-house experience at a fast-paced, high-growth company
- Deep background in commercial contracting
- Strong command of IP and technology licensing
- Fluency in data protection and privacy frameworks
- Experience leading high-stakes negotiations and advising internal stakeholders
- Experience working in regulated industries
