Job Description
We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our fast-growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analysing data across our logistics operations to uncover insights, optimize performance, and support data-driven decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to apply your data expertise in a high-impact role that directly supports business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within our supply chain operations.
- Build predictive models and algorithms to optimize logistics processes (routing, inventory, delivery times, etc.)
- Design data visualisations and dashboards to support internal teams with actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and customer service
- Continuously improve data quality, integrity, and reporting capabilities
- Translate business challenges into data solutions using machine learning and statistical models
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a data science or analytical role (Logistics experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Python, R, SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
