Powering the next generation of global finance

Bakkt Builder is a generalist operator role within the inaugural Bakkt Builders cohort – a small, elite group of 5 to 10 early‑career professionals who will work directly with the CEO and senior leadership to drive the company’s highest‑priority initiatives. Based in Dubai, Bakkt Builders own one high‑impact problem at a time – across product, strategy, and operations – with full authority and resources to solve it. This is a role for people who want to shape the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Execution: Own discrete, high‑priority projects end to end — from problem definition through solution design to implementation — across product, operations, and business functions.
• CEO & Leadership Support: Work directly with the CEO and senior leadership on the company’s most pressing priorities, providing analysis, recommendations, and hands‑on execution.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, finance, compliance and business teams to drive outcomes that cut across organizational boundaries.
• Problem Solving: Conduct data‑driven analysis to identify opportunities, diagnose problems, and inform strategic decisions at the leadership level.
• Process & Playbook Building: Design and document scalable processes, frameworks, and operational playbooks as the company grows.
• External Representation: Represent Bakkt with partners, customers, and stakeholders where needed, exercising sound judgment in high‑stakes settings.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: 0–5 years of experience in a high‑performance environment – startups, consulting, investment banking, or a top technology company. What matters more than years is demonstrated ownership and impact.
• Education: Graduate of IIT, IIM, or a top engineering or product program in India (or equivalent demonstrated excellence).
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to operate across technical and business domains. Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of making calls without a playbook.
• Preferred Qualifications: None
