Responsibilities
- Serve as the first clinical point of contact for members, conducting initial screenings and intake assessments.
- Evaluate behavioral health history, substance use, symptoms, and member goals.
- Communicate treatment options and guide members toward the most appropriate level of care.
- Facilitate warm transitions by connecting members with assigned counselors or coaches.
- Maintain a small ongoing caseload providing individual counseling and monitoring progress.
- Provide temporary member coverage during clinician leave or staffing transitions.
- Utilize evidence-based approaches including CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and harm reduction.
- Document member interactions thoroughly and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize member experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of clinical experience working with individuals with substance use disorders.
- Expertise in CBT, MI, and relapse prevention.
- Active and unrestricted state credential (license/certification) issued via a state credentialing board.
- Credentialing recognized by IC&RC or NAADAC (e.g., AADC, CAADC, LADC, LCSW with SUD treatment scope).
- Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-state licensure.
- Experience providing SBIRT care for people with SUDs.
- Experience in program development and quality assurance in clinical settings.
- Experience with research, data analysis, or program evaluation.
- Technologically proficient with experience leveraging virtual tools for care delivery.
