Senior Advisor - Safety, Health & Environment- Supervision

We are seeking a highly experienced and detailoriented Senior Advisor for Safety Health & Environment (SH&E) Supervision to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. In this critical role you will lead our efforts to ensure compliance with SH&E regulations develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across our organization.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all SH&Erelated matters providing expert guidance to management and staff
• Develop implement and oversee comprehensive SH&E strategies and programs aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
• Lead investigations into accidents injuries and nearmisses implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate SH&E best practices into all aspects of operations
• Supervise and mentor junior SH&E staff fostering their professional development and ensuring highquality performance
• Stay updated on UAE and international SH&E regulations standards and best practices ensuring organizational compliance
• Develop and deliver SH&E training programs to enhance awareness and competency across the organization
• Prepare and present detailed SH&E reports and recommendations to senior management
• Manage emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the organization in SH&Erelated matters

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety Environmental Science or a related field
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification (required for candidates with Engineering or related degrees)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant SH&E field with a focus on supervision and leadership
• Proven track record in developing implementing and managing effective safety and health programs
• Indepth knowledge of UAE and international SH&E legislative and regulatory obligations
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with excellent risk assessment and mitigation skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for SH&E management and reporting
• Demonstrated experience in conducting inspections reporting issues and following up on corrective actions
• Expertise in emergency response planning and crisis management
• Familiarity with international SH&E standards (e.g. ISO 45001 ISO 14001)
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members
• Knowledge of local UAE safety regulations and standards
• Ability to adapt to cultural differences in a diverse work environment
• Willingness to travel within the UAE as required for site inspections and audits
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Goaloriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement in SH&E practices
• Decisiveness in addressing safety concerns and implementing corrective measures
