Oracle Retail RAP - Business Consultant

Project description:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Retail RAP Business Consultan t to join our delivery team supporting retail clients across Europe and the GCC region. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing next-generation Oracle Retail planning solutions and helping clients optimize their planning processes.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to translate retail business requirements into effective system configurations and user-ready solutions. The role offers the opportunity to participate in full project lifecycles, from discovery and design through deployment and post-go-live support.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Oracle Retail Business Consultant or Functional Consultant.

• Hands-on implementation experience with at least one Oracle Retail RAP module:

• Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP)

• Assortment Planning (AP)

• Item Planning Optimization (IPO)

• Localized Planning Optimization (LPO)

• Strong understanding of retail planning processes, including:

• Merchandise Financial Planning

• Assortment Planning

• Demand Planning

• Space Planning

• Budgeting & Forecasting

• Replenishment-related Processes

• Experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and functional design.

• Background in testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, and end-user training.

• Ability to facilitate workshops and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.

• Proven delivery experience in retail projects with the ability to discuss project scope, responsibilities, and outcomes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

• Experience across multiple Oracle Retail RAP modules.

• Experience working with retail clients across Europe and/or the GCC region.

• Knowledge of change management and user adoption practices.

• Exposure to Oracle Retail ecosystem and planning best practices.

• Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead or support end-to-end Oracle Retail RAP implementations from discovery through go-live and hyper-care.

• Facilitate workshops to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

• Design future-state retail planning processes and configure Oracle RAP solutions accordingly.

• Advise clients on industry best practices in merchandise and financial planning.

• Prepare functional specifications, business process documentation, test scenarios, and training materials.

• Support data validation activities, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.

• Deliver user training sessions and support change adoption initiatives.

• Collaborate with technical consultants, project managers, and client teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure delivered solutions align with business requirements and project objectives.

• Provide post-implementation support and contribute to continuous process improvements.
