Job Description
Coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure smooth departmental activities.
Maintain and update room status reports, cleaning schedules, and assignments.
Communicate with Front Office regarding room availability, guest requests, and priority rooms.
Handle guest requests and ensure timely follow-up.
Prepare daily reports, attendance records, duty rosters, and departmental documentation.
Coordinate maintenance requests with Engineering and follow up on pending issues.
Monitor housekeeping supplies, amenities, linen inventory, and stock levels.
Handle departmental calls, emails, and internal communications.
Maintain accurate lost and found records in accordance with hotel procedures.
Assist the Executive Housekeeper with administrative and operational tasks.
Ensure effective communication between housekeeping colleagues and other departments.
Support compliance with hotel cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and service standards.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a luxury hotel.
Knowledge of housekeeping operations and room status management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel systems, preferably Opera.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and guest-focused mindset.
