Job Duties
Under broad direction, mentors, develops and recruits Application Evaluation (AE) and Application Design Evaluation (ADE) employees within the regional/country structure to provide guidance and direction. Assists Regional Manager in managing the drill bit business in order to achieve business plan objectives. Works with Drill Bit Product Managers and Region Manager to implement sub-PSL strategies within the region to ensure that countries/districts are aligned. Works with the OMC in defining the drill bit product offering within the region in order to balance inventory needs with local drilling requirements. Assists in the development, transition and implementation of new drill bit technology into the region. communicates new competitor technology to Drill Bit Product Managers and Technology Managers. Assists in regional business development through interaction with clients in conjunction with Country/District Managers and Business Development Teams. This role would be the technical expert for any technical and/or drill bit issues for the region. Partners with Global Technology and Product Managers to develop solutions to meet the specific demands of the region or country. Skills typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Technology or Business and/or a minimum of 8 years experience in the drill bit or energy service industry.
