Chief Operations Officer

Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations to ensure alignment with mission and strategic goals
- Lead and integrate core operational functions including finance, HR, IT, legal, and compliance
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and systems for scalability and efficiency
- Drive AI enablement across the organization in partnership with the CIO
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
- Establish performance metrics to monitor mission impact and financial health
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable the senior leadership team
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors, partners, and vendors to advance objectives
- Support fundraising and development efforts by aligning operations with revenue strategies
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-functional operations and transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting in a nonprofit environment
- Experience leading seasoned executives across HR, organizational development, and talent management
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements for nonprofit organizations
- Knowledge of information systems, data analytics, and technology infrastructure
- Track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
- Familiarity with nonprofit management principles, governance, and funding structures preferred
