Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in industrial buildings construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, manage, and oversee the project budgets, ensuring accurate cost control throughout the lifecycle of industrial construction projects.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and prepare cost estimates for various stages of the project.
- Manage tender processes, including preparation of tender documents, evaluation of submissions, and negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any financial risks or issues that may arise.
- Liaise with the project team, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project financial matters.
- Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and relevant regulations.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
- Contribute to value engineering processes to optimize project costs without compromising on quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong focus on industrial buildings construction.
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and financial procedures specific to industrial projects.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
