Required skills and abilities:-
- Excellent academic record (grade 10, plus two specially)
- Strong mathematical knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
- Analytical thinking skills
- Understanding of engineering science and technology
- Knowledge of building and construction
- Ability to use own initiative
Roles and responsibility:
- Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in UAE in contracting company
- Holding Diploma or equivalent degree in Quantity Surveyor is preferable
- Familiarity with forms of contracts
- Conversant in AUTO CAD, and CAD Measure based measurements
- Familiarity with MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint& Outlook)
- Taking off quantities of Sub-Structure, Architectural and landscaping and Structural work
- Quantity verifications using CAD or Site measure.
- Preparation of independent assessments for variations.
- Tender Analysis and Quantity Take off for Lumpsum Project
- Reviewing and validating payment applications
- Reviewing and validating of final accounts and additional cost claims
- Reviewing and validating Sub contractor Payment Applications
- Collaboration and working as part of a team
EDUCATION: Diploma/B.TECH or equivalent degree in quantity surveyor is preferable.
EXPERIENCE: At least 2-4 years in UAE in contracting company.
