Market Surveillance Analyst

Responsibilities
- Perform real-time monitoring of exchange activity and security feeds to identify market abuse like wash trading or spoofing
- Monitor market data to ensure compliance with margin requirements and position limits
- Conduct post-trade reviews and forensic analysis of flagged transactions
- Investigate potential rule violations by obtaining testimony and drafting investigative reports
- Ensure adherence to SEC, CFTC, and FINRA regulations
- Contribute to the development of surveillance protocols and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Technology teams to improve compliance workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Math or Juris Doctorate
- 4+ years in Compliance within financial services
- Experience in Derivatives or Prediction Markets
- Experience in Tradfi or Crypto space
- Familiarity with futures markets, commodities, and trading
- Proficiency with Trade Surveillance Platforms
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
