Mortgage Loan Originator - Northern California

Responsibilities
- Develop referral contacts including realtors and builders
- Manage residential mortgage loan applications from application to closing
- Maintain knowledge of loan products and underwriting guidelines
- Collect documentation and deliver loan packages within set timeframes
- Manage pipeline for all originated loans
- Communicate progress updates to branches and applicants
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent mandatory
- Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines
- Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures
- Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending
- S.A.F.E. Act registration required via NMLS
- Strong organizational and communication skills
