Electrical Supervisor

Description

An established construction and engineering environment in Dubai offers an opportunity for a capable Electrical Supervisor to coordinate electrical site activities, guide technical teams, and ensure electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily electrical installation and maintenance activities at project sites.
Assign tasks to electricians, technicians, and electrical helpers.
Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and materials required for electrical works.
Review electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, and work instructions.
Monitor installation of cables, conduits, panels, switches, lighting systems, and related equipment.
Inspect completed electrical work to ensure proper installation and workmanship.
Coordinate electrical activities with civil, mechanical, MEP, and other site teams.
Monitor work progress and report delays or technical issues to management.
Conduct routine checks and assist with testing and commissioning activities.
Ensure electrical tools and equipment are used correctly and safely.
Identify defects, faults, and installation issues and arrange corrective action.
Maintain daily work records, material requirements, and progress reports.
Conduct toolbox briefings and reinforce electrical safety practices.
Ensure workers use appropriate PPE and follow site safety procedures.
Coordinate inspections with consultants, engineers, and project representatives when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe electrical work area.
Requirements
Diploma, ITI, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Electrical Foreman, or Senior Electrician is preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and site operations.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical documents.
Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Strong team leadership and manpower coordination skills.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to monitor work quality, progress, and material requirements.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
UAE/GCC construction or MEP experience is an advantage.
Relevant electrical certification or technical qualification will be an advantage.
