Business Studies Teacher

Byron Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Studies Teacher to join an international school offering a broad, globally focused curriculum. This is an on‑site teaching role within a diverse, collaborative learning community.

About the Role

The Business Studies Teacher will guide students in understanding key business concepts and developing practical skills that support their academic growth and future pathways. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and contributing to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well‑structured Business Studies lessons aligned with the international curriculum
• Create a classroom environment that supports inquiry, critical thinking, and real‑world application
• Assess student work, provide meaningful feedback, and track academic progress
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and contribute to cross‑department initiatives
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional learning activities
• Support students in developing strong study habits, organisational skills, and an interest in business concepts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field
• Teaching qualification or certification
• Experience teaching Business Studies in an international or multicultural school setting
• Strong understanding of international curricula and student‑centred learning practices
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience teaching multiple business‑related subjects (e.g., Economics, Accounting, Entrepreneurship)
• Background working with multilingual learners
• Familiarity with educational technology tools
