School Accountant

Capital School Dubai is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced School Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to contribute to the financial operations of a reputable educational institution while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting functions, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and reconciliation processes. Previous experience within a school environment will be considered an advantage.

This position is ideal for a candidate with strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational abilities, and the capability to work effectively in a professional educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

• Prepare financial reports and account reconciliations

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

• Monitor transactions and ensure compliance with accounting policies

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters

• Ensure proper record management and financial accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience

• Previous school accounting experience is preferred

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
