Shutdown Manager

Location: Habshan , UAE

Qualification : B. tech/B.E. (Regular)

Must have Experience in any gulf project & oil gas

Requirements

• Lead the overall planning and execution of Shutdown, Turnaround and Maintenance projects .
  
• Manage complete shutdown activities from pre-shutdown planning through execution, commissioning and close-out .
  
• Develop detailed shutdown execution strategies, schedules, resource plans and work methodologies.
  
• Coordinate with the client, project management team, engineering, maintenance, operations, QA/QC and HSE teams.
  
• Plan and mobilize manpower, equipment, tools, materials and subcontractors required for shutdown execution.
  
• Monitor shutdown progress against approved schedules and ensure timely completion of critical activities.
  
• Manage mechanical, piping, structural, E&I and other maintenance activities associated with shutdown projects.
  
• Identify critical-path activities and implement recovery plans to minimize delays and downtime.
  
• Ensure effective coordination of permit-to-work, isolation, LOTO and plant access requirements .
  
• Maintain strict compliance with client HSE procedures and international Oil & Gas safety standards.
  
• Monitor productivity, manpower utilization, equipment deployment and overall project performance.
  
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors and ensure adherence to project requirements.
  
• Review daily progress reports, manpower reports, productivity reports and shutdown KPIs.
  
• Manage project costs, variation orders, commercial issues and resource utilization.
  
• Conduct regular coordination meetings with the client and project stakeholders.
  
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout shutdown execution.
  
• Lead daily shutdown review meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
  
• Ensure proper mechanical completion, punch-list clearance, reinstatement and handover .
  
• Prepare shutdown completion reports, lessons learned and project close-out documentation.
