Benefits Coordinator - Part Time Position

Position works with various benefits related partners to implement and maintain school district benefits and is the point of contact for answering benefits related questions from employees. Employee communication includes, but not limited to, claim issues and enrollment status. Coordinator assists in the healthcare benefits program administration and processing. Acts as the primary contact to employees during the annual Benefits Open Enrollment process.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience that includes healthcare benefits administration, processing and analysis. Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with current and former employees. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrated experience managing employee benefit plans in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Has strong technology skills related to the field.

Familiarity with EEO, ADA, Family Leave and other regulations regarding employment.

Provide superior customer service as the primary point of contact for employees with benefit plan issues/questions and promote the school district's vision and goals by building trusted rapport with employees.

Prior HR experience or experience with school benefits programs is a plus.

This is a 12-Month Position, 20 Hours per Week, $20.00/Hour
