Electrical Supervisor

Will supervise the day‑to‑day electrical maintenance activities in the plant, including preventive and corrective maintenance, planned outages, and overhauling work activities for all electrical equipment in accordance with overall maintenance plans, HSE guidelines and quality standards to ensure effective functionality, plant availability and equipment reliability.

Maintenance Management

• Assign resources for scheduled preventive maintenance, breakdowns, and major repair jobs to enable optimal functionality of electrical equipment in line with quality standards and to ensure timely completion of all jobs.
• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis on all electrical equipment to ensure smooth and trouble‑free operations.
• Test and validate the condition of equipment upon completion of repairs to confirm readiness in compliance with quality standards.
• Perform regular inspections to follow up on work progress of all electrical technicians, ensuring that work progress is carried out as per approved work schedule and appropriate resources are allocated while highlighting any non‑conformances to the Electrical Engineer for prompt action.
• Participate in the investigation and specification of modifications to existing systems; assist the Electrical Engineer in preparing preliminary submissions including technical specifications and materials for modifications together with accompanying drawings, process diagrams and cost estimates.

Outage Management

• Coordinate the planning and execution of the annual outage maintenance of critical electrical equipment, as per the recommendation of the OEM, and provide technical support to ensure the EHS, scope, cost, and timeline objectives are met.

People Management

• Supervise the activities and work of team members to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with required policies, processes, procedures and systems.

Requirements

• A Diploma in Electrical Maintenance.
• 10–12 years’ experience in electrical maintenance such as installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment used in Power and Water desalination plants.
