About the Role

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant to act as the strategic bridge between our commercial goals and technical reality for Silkrunner, our agentic AI workflow orchestration platform. In this role, you move beyond standard product demonstrations into the technical conscience of the sales cycle.

Sitting at the intersection of technical credibility and business value, you will be responsible for translating complex customer pain points into deliverable technical scopes. Your mission is to ensure we win high-value deals by validating platform fit, sizing complexity, and ensuring a flawless transition from the 'promise' of sales to the 'reality' of implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with IT, Operations, and Business stakeholders to map processes and uncover hidden requirements.

• Actively qualify (and disqualify) opportunities based on technical feasibility and alignment with Silkrunner.

• Identify integration requirements, data flows, and edge cases that could impact delivery.

• Partner with sellers to understand business objectives and connect them to relevant Silkrunner agentic AI applications and platform capabilities.

• Tailor technical messaging for different buyer personas by industry and function.

• Prepare and deliver impactful, outcome-oriented demonstrations for both new prospects and existing customers, focused on speed-to-value rather than feature checklists.

• Build and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) sessions to prove the platform's ability to handle 'messy' real-world enterprise data.

• Help shape and refine use cases based on maturity, need, and strategic alignment.

• Address technical objections from CTOs and Security teams with confidence and clarity.

• Define key technical requirements, recommend deployment models, and advise on data readiness to ensure quick time-to-value for new and expansion opportunities.

• Navigate the specific regulatory and data residency requirements unique to the UAE and Middle Eastern enterprise landscape.

• Build long-term relationships with stakeholders, acting as a consultant on AI advancements and digital transformation.

• Act as a trusted advisor across the sales team, supporting Account Executives and business development with the technical knowledge and assets needed to drive opportunities forward.

• Surface patterns in customer objections, market trends, and technical blockers to Product, Marketing, and Enablement to strengthen positioning and readiness.

Requirements

• Business acumen: you don't just understand code; you understand how an organization operates, makes money, and transforms.

• Technical foundation: 5+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, data science, or technical consulting within a software or SaaS company (SIs also welcome); familiarity with GenAI-related sales a plus.

• Architectural thinking: familiarity with APIs, cloud concepts, and how LLMs and AI services integrate into legacy enterprise stacks.

• Strong ability to translate agentic AI, GenAI, and ML platform capabilities into business outcomes across multiple industries and functions.

• Demonstrated success supporting both new business and expansion opportunities across enterprise and commercial accounts.

• The 'Power of No': the courage and judgement to push back on unrealistic timelines or misaligned technical expectations to protect the business.

• Communication excellence: outstanding demo skills and the ability to simplify the complex for a CEO while maintaining total credibility with a Lead Developer.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with evolving product offerings and use cases.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, analytical, or business-related field (or equivalent experience); advanced degree a plus.

• Willingness to travel onsite with customers up to 50% of the time.

• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the UAE/GCC market and familiarity with regional government or regulated sectors.

• Direct exposure to workflow automation, iPaaS, or LLM-based product positioning.

• Experience delivering user training or enablement programs.
