Summary: We are looking for an experienced Head of Photography to lead the photography function within our in-house Creative Agency. Reporting directly to the Art Director, this role will translate approved creative direction into high-quality photographic assets and oversee photography from creative execution and capture through post-production and final asset delivery. The Head of Photography will lead the Senior Photographer and Post Production Artist, while owning photographic standards, studio equipment and infrastructure, photography workflows, post-production, asset management, and delivery across regional markets.

The ideal candidate is a senior commercial photographer with a strong studio background, exceptional technical and visual expertise, and proven experience leading photography teams and post-production workflows within a fast-paced creative environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate approved creative direction into photographic execution, ensuring the intended visual direction is accurately brought to life

• Lead photography across campaigns, product, e-commerce, social, and other creative productions, maintaining a consistently high creative and technical standard

• Provide senior photographic expertise across lighting, composition, camera, lenses, digital capture, and studio photography

• Oversee photographic execution across shoots, providing senior-level direction on lighting, camera setup, capture, and visual execution while ensuring work aligns with the approved creative direction

• Will lead a team of inhouse photographers and retouchers, setting priorities, providing feedback, and ensuring work is delivered to the required creative and technical standard

• Own the photography workflow from captured assets through selects, post-production, quality control, final exports, and delivery

• Oversee internal and external retouching and post-production workflows, managing feedback, revisions, approvals, and timelines

• Review photography and final retouched assets for creative quality, color, product accuracy, consistency, and technical specifications

• Own photography asset management and final delivery, ensuring files are correctly organized, stored, versioned, exported, and prepared for distribution across regional markets

• Manage the photography studio and equipment ecosystem, including cameras, lenses, lighting, grip, tethering systems, storage, and related infrastructure

• Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory, procurement, and replacement requirements to ensure the studio remains fully operational and fit for purpose

• Establish and maintain photography and post-production standards and processes, identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability

• Work with the in-house Production team to support the successful execution of photography projects, providing photography-specific requirements and technical direction as needed

• Coordinate with external photography and post-production vendors to secure additional support and capacity as required.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in commercial photography, with experience in a senior photographer, photography lead, or photography management role

• Strong professional studio photography background, with extensive expertise in lighting, digital capture, composition, cameras, lenses, tethering, and studio equipment

• Proven experience translating creative direction into high-quality photographic execution across multiple channels

• Demonstrated experience managing and developing photographers, post-production artists, retouchers, or other creative specialists

• Strong understanding of professional photography post-production, retouching, color management, quality control, and final asset preparation

• Experience managing photography assets, storage, file structures, version control, exports, and delivery at scale

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and collaborate effectively with Creative, Production, Marketing, E-commerce, Design, and regional stakeholders

• Exceptional attention to detail and a highly developed visual eye

• Strong working knowledge of Capture One and Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop

• Experience managing photography studios, equipment inventories, maintenance, and procurement

• Experience working within beauty, fashion, luxury, or high-end commercial photography is strongly preferred

• Strong studio photography experience is preferred, particularly across beauty, product, and controlled-lighting environments

• Experience working within a global brand or managing assets for distribution across multiple markets is a plus

• Experience with digital asset management and creative production tracking systems is a plus

• Knowledge of emerging AI tools and technologies relevant to photography and post-production is a plus
