Position Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical Finance Technology & Automation Intern to bridge the gap between financial operations and intelligent systems. In this role, you will help modernize our financial infrastructure by leveraging data science, enterprise software management,

and automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline internal systems, support ERP deployments, and build predictive models that drive business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate sustainability reporting and carbon emission calculations, integrating them with invoicing frameworks (e.g., Odoo) to generate audit-ready CSR sustainability reports.
• Support the testing, validation, and global deployment of enterprise software systems, specifically SAP ERP and Salesforce CRM.
• Execute SQL and BusinessObjects queries to perform root-cause analysis on financial system defects and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct business performance analysis and customer segmentation using R and Tableau, applying statistical methods like A/B testing and t-tests across conversion metrics.
• Conduct user research and collaborate with systems teams to design internal management platforms that streamline resource allocation and consulting projects.
• Develop data pipelines and predictive models using Python, XGBoost, and Random Forest to forecast resource needs and optimize operational costs.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation and update test plans within HP ALM and Octane during monthly validation cycles.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computing and Information Technologies, Computer Science, Digital Business, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and SQL (MySQL) for data manipulation and querying. Essential experience navigating multi-entity regional corporate structures with direct, hands-on experience managing complex financial consolidations.
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise software environments (SAP ERP, Salesforce) and regression testing.
• Familiarity with data visualization and statistical analysis tools, including Tableau and R.
• Proven ability to conduct interviews, utilize qualitative coding, and create detailed product specification sheets for internal systems.
• Experience participating in agile workflows and collaborating cross-functionally with developers and business stakeholders.
• A track record of building automated modules or dashboards (e.g., via competitive hackathons or capstone projects).
