Bim Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Technician to join our innovative team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a BIM Technician you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining Building Information Models for various construction projects ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the design process.

• Create and develop 3D models and technical drawings using BIM software from initial stages to final delivery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate various building systems into cohesive BIM models
• Ensure compliance with project requirements current regulations and design criteria defined by engineers
• Execute design assignments of low to medium complexity under direct supervision
• Interpret 2D designs and verbal or written instructions to create accurate 3D models and technical plans
• Develop deliverables autonomously adhering to project-specific guidelines and BIM standards
• Participate in coordination activities as directed by the BIM team or project leader
• Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and documentation
• Assist in identifying and resolving design conflicts and clashes within the BIM model
• Stay current with the latest BIM technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or Technical diploma in a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in BIM modeling or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience with BIM 360 ACC and other collaborative work platforms
• Strong knowledge of 3D modeling software and techniques
• Solid understanding of construction processes and building systems
• Familiarity with BIM standards and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
