About the Team

You will be part of a dynamic and autonomous team comprising Careem veterans and new talent, all aligned on a mission to build Careem Food while upholding values of ownership, ambition, and service to customers, partners, colleagues, and captains.

What You'll Do

• Field Sales: identify, target, pitch, and close restaurant/food outlet partners and onboard them to the Careem Food Delivery network.
• Target large food chains (top tier) as well as medium and small food outlets (long tail).
• Identify high‑potential geographic clusters with dense restaurant populations, diverse cuisines, and suitable customer profiles for Food Delivery business.
• On‑board partners currently live on other platforms, building a competitive edge by targeting and closing long‑tail opportunities using a cluster‑by‑cluster approach.
• Negotiate and close commercial terms, exclusivity agreements, and consumer deals and offers with restaurant partners.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and similar software tools.
• A passion for improving people’s lives, an intense focus on excellence and customer service, and alignment with core values of boldness, focus, agility, and collaboration.
• Experience in an acquisition role with a proven track record in direct and channel sales, especially closing deals.
• A “hunting spirit” to develop new opportunities and grow business across multiple technology dimensions within the Food/Service Provider space.
• Excellent teamwork skills and comfort collaborating with local, regional, and corporate teams in a large cross‑functional organization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive solutions in line with industry and local market trends.
• Self‑driven, high‑energy, and a can‑do attitude that contributes creatively to building a solid business pipeline and driving sustainable growth.
• Highly analytical and detail‑oriented.
• 1–2 years of field sales or business development experience, consistently achieving weekly/monthly targets.
• Ability to work under pressure with stretched targets and limited resources, crafting smart technology‑based solutions.
• Ownership mindset and technological savviness with a flair for e‑commerce / internet‑led business.
• Exceptional negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of the Sharjah geography and local landscape.
