Telecom Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities
- Execute full lifecycle implementation of telecom network functions in cloud-native environments
- Manage design, deployment, acceptance, operations, documentation, and support activities
- Support mobile network technologies across 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)
- Manage core network functions including Packet Core, IMS Core, Charging & Policy, and Subscriber Repositories
- Deploy and operate infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, OpenShift, and VMware
- Partner with R&D and Engineering to automate workflows and develop infrastructure-as-code
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in network architecture, wireless networking, and virtualization
- Strong experience with cloud networking and infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenShift, VMware)
- Deep knowledge of telecom protocols including GTP, Diameter, SIP, DNS, and IPsec
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI fundamentals and their application in network operations
- AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes certifications
- Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent)
- Telecom vendor certifications
