Overview Of The Role:
The Digital Sales Representative role is crucial in driving active selling and providing product expertise through digital channels at IKEA. Tasks include engaging with customers, addressing their home furnishing needs, and finding opportunities to increase sales, all while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires excellent communication and sales skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Success in this role is measured through customer transactions, satisfaction surveys, and meeting sales targets.

What You Will Do:

• Listen and engage proactively with customers through digital channels, identifying their concerns.
• Provide meaningful solutions and address customer needs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Answer questions about the products, emphasize their features, and highlight solutions to customer problems.
• Gather customer feedback and share with the concerned teams.
• Identify opportunities to generate sales and increase customer satisfaction.
• Perform up-selling and cross-selling to maximize sales.
• Meet sales targets set by the organization.

• Develop and maintain good relations and excellent collaboration within and outside IKEA Communication.
• Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of the products/services offered.
• Stay informed about trends, apply changes on the digital platform, and uphold IKEA positioning and communication strategies.
• Maintain best practices in digital sales and communication.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Customer service skills to listen to and address customer concerns
• Excellent communication skills, particularly persuasion
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Google Analytics, and other digital performance tools

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Previous Sales Experience
• Experience with help desk software and remote support tools
• Strong understanding of the products and services offered by IKEA
• Tech Savvy with proficiency in using digital tools
