Job Description Hiring Mechanic Foreman with Extensive knowledge of heavy construction equipment operation, maintenance and repair.
Awareness of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work. Knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engine and drive train. Responsibilities Ensure the preventive maintenance plan is carried out as per company policy and OEM recommendations.
Provide technical support to subordinates.
Conduct site visits regularly to ensure equipment is being utilized and serviced as per OEM specifications.
Ensure NMDC Equipment is maintained and repaired according to OEM recommendations.
Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to prepare reports and to make cost, material and equipment estimates.
Ability to plan, assign and supervise the work of subordinates.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other supporting departments.
Maintain proper parts management and follow up on parts and consumable purchases. Qualifications Possesses experience with construction equipment maintenance and repair, prefereably with a dealership. Hands-on experience as heavy equipment mechanic. Good Command of English language
