Synopsis

Manage, coordinate, and execute sales activities for assigned accounts while monitoring market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity. Drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and support the achievement of Etihad Airways' commercial objectives through effective account management, strategic sales planning, and market development initiatives.

Accountabilities

• Collaborate with regional, country, and Headquarters stakeholders to align sales strategies and commercial priorities.
• Represent Etihad Airways in customer meetings, industry events, and external engagements as required.
• Lead the commercial development of assigned markets or territories and serve as the primary point of contact for General Sales Agents (GSAs), where applicable.
• Support and deliver country or regional commercial projects in line with departmental objectives.
• Coach and mentor new Sales Representatives by providing onboarding support, training guidance, and ongoing commercial advice.
• Define, agree, and execute sales plans to achieve revenue, market share, and customer growth targets.
• Analyse market potential and customer opportunities using sales insights, data, and commercial tools to maximise revenue generation.
• Identify business development opportunities and support the introduction of new products, services, and commercial initiatives.
• Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with assigned and prospective accounts to drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Act as a trusted advisor to key customers by providing value-added solutions and strengthening long-term partnerships.
• Regularly engage with customers to promote new products, services, campaigns, and commercial opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments to identify opportunities and enhance Etihad's market position.
• Collaborate with Sales Enablement and internal stakeholders to implement effective sales and promotional strategies.
• Prepare, coordinate, and review commercial agreements to ensure customer requirements are met and company policies are adhered to.
• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with assigned accounts in accordance with corporate guidelines and commercial objectives.
• Maintain accurate customer records, commercial activities, and account plans within designated sales systems and tools.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Minimum Diploma qualification (2 years or higher).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a sales, commercial, customer service, or business-related environment.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially aware with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
