Procurement Contract Specialist

POWERTECH is a center of excellence for propulsion technologies, specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion engines, expendable turbojet engines, and turbofan engines for a wide range of aerospace, defence, and autonomous applications, including fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs and other advanced platforms.

Job Summary

The Procurement & Contracts Specialist is responsible for managing procurement activities, supplier coordination, and contract administration to support aerospace propulsion development and manufacturing programs. The role involves sourcing technical materials and services, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring timely delivery in compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of precision machined parts, tooling, raw materials, and engineering services
• Prepare and manage RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and program teams on technical procurement requirements
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery status, and procurement risks
• Support supplier qualification and compliance activities
• Maintain procurement records and reporting within ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
• Ensure compliance with company policies, export control, and aerospace quality standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 5–8 years of procurement or contracts experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, and advanced manufacturing industries

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of procurement and contract management
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing and technical documentation
• Good commercial negotiation and supplier management skills
• Strong MS Excel and reporting capability
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
• Commercial awareness and problem‑solving mindset
• Attention to detail and accountability
• Ability to work in fast‑paced development and production environments
