Sr. UX/UI Designer (Open Finance) 6 Months Contract Onsite in UAE - Octopus

We are seeking an experienced Manager - UX/UI Designer to lead the user experience design process for digital products related to Open Finance . The role focuses on creating intuitive, seamless, and user-centered experiences across web and mobile platforms.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for wireframing, prototyping, usability testing support, and UI design , while collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that design solutions align with both user needs and business goals .
This role requires someone who can own the design lifecycle , advocate for users, and contribute to the evolution of UX strategy and design processes.
Key Responsibilities
UX & Interaction Design
- Design the information architecture and interaction flows for websites, mobile applications, and digital platforms.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and sitemaps to ensure intuitive navigation and seamless user journeys.
- Apply user-centered design principles to improve usability and product adoption.
Prototyping & UI Design
- Develop low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Miro .
- Create high-quality UI designs, mockups, and interactive prototypes aligned with design systems.
- Work closely with UI and development teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency .
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to align design with product strategy.
- Present design concepts, research insights, and usability findings to stakeholders.
- Advocate for the user perspective throughout the product lifecycle .
UX Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of UX strategy aligned with product and business goals.
- Continuously improve design processes, workflows, and collaboration practices .
- Apply Agile or Lean methodologies to iterate and optimize design outcomes.
Usability & User Research
- Support usability testing, user interviews, and research activities .
- Analyze user insights and feedback to inform design decisions.
- Translate research findings into actionable product improvements .
Project Ownership
- Manage design projects from concept to delivery , ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Ensure designs maintain brand consistency and visual identity across all digital touchpoints.
- 6-8 years of experience in UX/UI design.
- Proven experience designing web and mobile applications .
- Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing .
- Experience working in cross-functional teams within Agile environments .
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Figma, Sketch, Miro, or Adobe XD .
- Strong understanding of user research and design thinking methodologies .
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems .
- Understanding of responsive design and digital accessibility .
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end frameworks is a plus.
