Senior Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is responsible for using software and/or hand tools to create visual content such as posters, websites, logos, brochures, magazines, course materials, and more. This role involves designing a wide variety of elements across both digital and print media. To succeed in this position, the Graphic Designer must be highly self-motivated and capable of delivering outstanding creative ideas while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. The role requires managing multiple projects across various departments, so strong time management, prioritization, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Liaise with the management team to determine design requirements and priorities.
• Oversee the development of management requests and determine and manage priorities.
• Work with the management team through briefing and advising regarding design, style, format, online display, print production, and timescales.
• Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites.
• Determine size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
• Prepare rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements if required.
• Plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size, and style.
• Coordinate with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements when necessary.
• Perform other related duties within the scope of the role as assigned by the line manager or the academy.

Qualification

• Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience with strong evidence of graphic design performance.
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse and high-quality work.

Experience

• Four or more years of experience in graphic design.
• Experience as a graphic designer within an educational institution is preferred.

Language Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management, colleagues, external agencies, and other stakeholders.
