Compliance Officer

The Role

The Compliance Officer will play a key role in supporting CSP Group’s compliance and onboarding processes in multiple jurisdictions throughout the GCC, including the UAE Financial Free Zones, mainland UAE and KSA.

This client-facing role involves onboarding clients by collecting and verifying ownership documents, identifying UBOs and undertaking screening in accordance with the CSP Group’s client risk assessment methodology, and always ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction where the CSP Group operates.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake the compliance onboarding process for CSP Group clients, ensuring full adherence to the CSP Group AML Policy and applicable regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare and maintain client risk assessments in line with the Group’s AML methodology, including risk rating, rationale, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure all client compliance files and records (physical and digital) are accurate, complete, and up to date within the CRM and CSP Cloud systems.
• Conduct client screening and ongoing monitoring using approved screening tools and reliable public sources, identifying and escalating potential red flags where required.
• Correctly identify, assess, and apply UBO tests across the jurisdictions in which CSP Group operates.
• Manage the preparation, review, and submission of compliance-related filings, notifications, and reports to relevant regulators and authorities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and update compliance registers, trackers, and internal reports, supporting audits, inspections, and internal reviews as required.
• Act as a first point of contact for internal stakeholders on routine compliance queries, escalating matters appropriately in line with internal governance frameworks.
• Monitor and stay informed of regulatory and legislative developments that may impact the business or its clients, proactively highlighting risks and required actions.
• Support internal compliance awareness and best-practice standards, ensuring activities align with the CSP Group Code of Conduct and internal policies.

Requirements for the Role

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a compliance role within the legal, financial, or corporate services sector, with a strong focus on the UAE and wider GCC region.
• ACAMS and/or ICA qualification (required).
• In-depth working knowledge of compliance laws and regulatory frameworks across the jurisdictions in which CSP Group operate, including UAE Mainland, UAE Financial Free Zones (e.g. ADGM and DIFC), and KSA.
• Proven experience working within ADGM or DIFC, or for an ADGM- and/or DIFC-regulated Corporate Service Provider, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee compliance processes in a fast‑paced environment, with strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory), with the ability to provide clear, practical, and risk‑based guidance to internal teams and clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and compliance‑related systems, including CRM platforms, risk assessment tools, and screening systems.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight regulatory and business deadlines.

Working Hours & Flexibility

• Standard office hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
