Staff Nurse

Description

A healthcare environment in Dubai offers an opportunity for a compassionate and professionally trained Staff Nurse to provide quality patient care, support clinical activities, and work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients according to established clinical procedures.
Assess patients’ general condition and report significant changes to the appropriate healthcare professional.
Monitor and record vital signs and other relevant patient observations.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and within the scope of professional practice.
Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing and patient-care records.
Support patients with personal care, comfort, mobility, and daily healthcare needs.
Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
Prepare and maintain patient rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies.
Educate patients and families regarding basic care instructions and prescribed treatment plans.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established emergency procedures.
Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
Monitor medical supplies and report shortages or equipment issues.
Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
Participate in shift handovers and ensure important patient information is communicated properly.
Follow healthcare facility policies, safety standards, and professional nursing practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid nursing registration or professional license as required by the relevant UAE authority.
Previous clinical or hospital experience is an advantage.
Freshers with the required nursing qualification and applicable licensing eligibility may also apply.
Good knowledge of patient care, nursing procedures, infection control, and medication safety.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused approach.
Good observation, documentation, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Physically and mentally capable of handling routine nursing responsibilities.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
UAE/GCC healthcare experience is an advantage.
