Overview Of The Role:

• The Retail Sales Representative is essential for driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences in the Al Futtaim Watches & Jewellery stores. This role involves a mixture of sales generation and operational duties, requiring the representative to maintain store standards and cleanliness, provide product information, and assist customers effectively. Success in this role is defined by the ability to meet or exceed sales goals, maintain a positive and professional customer environment, and cover various operational tasks such as POS training and store operations management.

What You Will Do:

Sales and Customer Service

• Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times, both internal and external, by being aware of the product categories and being able to assist and advise customers in a professional manner.
• Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to the dress code.
• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.
• Provide customers with current and relevant information about the product.
• Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner, and attempt to add on to the sale.

Operational Duties

• Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations, including opening, closing, and other security aspects.
• Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager if required.
• Train new staff on the Point of Sale (POS) operation and be responsible for corrective action at the POS.
• Ensure compliance with in-store procedures regarding pricing and ticketing to protect against loss from incorrect pricing.
• Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.
• Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions.
• Participate in all inventories and perform housekeeping duties as required.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Strong customer service skills with an eye for fashion trends.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and collaborate well with peers and management.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• High School Degree.
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform some heavy lifting and stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
