Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Fractional CTO / Technical Advisor to provide strategic technology leadership across our Web3 ecosystem. This role will support multiple initiatives, including a Web3 gaming platform, decentralized exchange (DEX), and a blockchain-based real estate platform focused on tokenized assets. The ideal candidate will work closely with founders, product teams, and engineers to guide technical strategy, architecture decisions, security practices, and product scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall technical vision, architecture, and roadmap across multiple Web3 products.
• Advise leadership on technology decisions, product strategy, infrastructure planning, and scalability.
• Review and validate system architecture, smart contract designs, and blockchain integrations.
• Provide guidance on DEX development, liquidity mechanisms, tokenomics, staking, and DeFi protocols.
• Support the design and implementation of Web3 gaming ecosystems, NFT integrations, and on-chain economies.
• Advise on the architecture and technical implementation of tokenized real estate and Real-World Asset (RWA) platforms.
• Conduct technical reviews and identify opportunities to improve performance, security, and reliability.
• Mentor engineering teams and establish development standards, best practices, and technical processes.
• Assist with technical hiring, team structure, and engineering leadership.
• Evaluate emerging blockchain technologies and recommend suitable solutions for business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and investors on technical discussions and due diligence.
• Ensure products follow security best practices and are prepared for third-party audits and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise in blockchain architecture, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
• Experience working with Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Solana, or similar ecosystems.
• Proven experience building or advising Web3, DeFi, GameFi, NFT, or RWA projects.
• Deep understanding of DEX protocols, liquidity pools, staking mechanisms, and token economics.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, and scalable backend systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with founders and executive stakeholders.
• Experience leading distributed or remote engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, or Technical Lead experience.
• Experience launching successful blockchain products or Web3 startups.
• Knowledge of smart contract auditing processes and security frameworks.
• Understanding of regulatory considerations related to digital assets and tokenized real-world assets.
• Active involvement in the blockchain and Web3 ecosystem.
